  1. Steph,

I really admire your honesty with this project.
I think you've done a great job capturing beautiful moments in time. However, as far as your concept of trying to be self-expressive and on a journey to "find yourself" again, as it were. I think a great way of relating that to the viewer would be to consider the use of text. You mentioned in critique how "This day felt like a purple day. That's why they are purple" so what if you just took that extra step to adding times, dates, titling, and short descriptions of each image? I think It would be a great entry point for the viewer to understand WHY you are making these types of images and why they should care.

  2. I agree with Joelle. I think text would definitely be helpful to the viewer. These places are random so maybe some text about them would make the audience understand what you're trying to accomplish here. Also, some images are a little light and some are a little dark...maybe you can adjust the brightness/contrast of them.

  3. I like your idea about documenting a space in order to give it a purpose. I seem to be drawn to the images without people though. I feel that their inclusion is distracting and currently don't seem to serve a purpose. If you want these images to look as though they are taken in the future then things such as style of dress can hinder your project by placing them in a certain era. I enjoy your choice of altering the color. Where they stand now this manipulation gives them a post apocalyptic feeling that alludes to them being taken in a future setting.
